Waves- Bill Nye Video
There are three properties of waves, one is frequency, amplitude, and wavelength. Wavelength is the distance between successive crest of a wave points in a sound wave or electromagnetic wave. What causes waves on the ocean is the wind. Frequency is the rate that occur or repeats over time. And amplitude is the maximum extent of a vibration or oscillation, measure from the position of equilibrium. When a wave bounces back and comes back to the source it is called a reflection. A sonar is a system that detects objects underwater and can measure the water depth by sounds.
